Back Up North

When we bought our first motorhome and moved out of our house we kept our bedroom and garage for our use on occasion, and storage, respectively. There have been times we’ve come back to the house and parked in the driveway for various reasons, but now that we’ve leased the lot about an hour away …

Sunday Visitors; Amazing Maisie

It was a chillier day today but the sun was bright so we decided to make a fire in the firepit and enjoy God’s creation anyway! I don’t recall if I’ve shared Maisie’s story, or how God made her perfect for me and got us together, what she was like, etc. but she was a …

A Day In The Life…Oct. 10, 2020

The last few days I’ve been unable to go out at all but today was so beautiful AND supposed to be the last nice sunny warm day for a while – until spring? – so I was determined to get out there one way or another…and I did it. Following are some photos I took …

Elliot the Meyers Parrot Is A Winner!

Hi guys…in going through my downloaded FB files I found a photo that I’ve been looking for for a long time. About 10 years ago I listened to a morning radio show every day, and at one point they had a contest for people to send in their favorite morning pictures. Winners would be included …

My First Week Without Facebook

It’s been a week already? Golly. I don’t miss it. I do, however, miss my friends and family. Facebook made it easy to stay in touch. At any rate, I have my self-allotted social media time filled nicely in spite of it. I do spend a lot of time here, on this blog site, and …

Hump Day Happenings, Autumn Colors

We were up early today, well before dawn, as we had told Casey we could stay with the kids today and entertain them while she worked. We got on the road plenty early to have time to stop at a coffee shop on the way. But when the heater didn’t warm up our toes I …

A Very Pleasant Autumn Day!

Today was lovely! It was only about 60 at the highest but the sun was bright and the colors were stunning! As it turns out, on this lot there is very little variety of color, but the yellows and golds of the birches are brilliant in the sunshine! There are also shades of green, of …

Friday – ROAD TRIP!

Yesterday we decided to go on a road trip. We’d been in the Saginaw area on Thursday, so we chose to go in the other direction, and made for the west side of the state – Grand Rapids, MI. On the way there we went to Greenville, as there was a store I wanted to …

Father Knows Best

Memes and other things I see online really resonate with me when they apply to my life. Here are a few I’ve saved recently. I’m starting out with a tough one. It’s not too hard to “do all things” that He asks of me…but without murmurings and disputings? THAT’s the hard part! Yet, He wants …

A Day In Saginaw

Pete had an appointment at the Veterans Administration in Saginaw today so we took the opportunity to stop for lunch beforehand. We also stopped at a thrift store while we were in the city but I didn’t take any pictures of that. We had a wonderful day together, as always!
