Recorded as I played through some hymns on my Tyros5-76, editing out the flotsam and jetsam. As always, this is to share with my friends, not a performance. But I hope you enjoy it anyway!“If you seek perfection, look elsewhere.” ~ Chiafucius

Supernal Sunday – Sept. 10, 2023 Edition: The Church
Most people think of “church” as a building we go to on Sunday (or whatever day you go). The Church was begun, based upon the teachings of Jesus; prior to that God’s chosen worshiped at the Temple. God resided within a certain place. Now, the temple is within each believer. God is in heaven…He is …

Supernal Sunday – Sept. 3, 2023 Edition: Labor (with alt-texts)
NOTE THAT alt-texts on Supernal Sunday posts consist of the text only, no descriptions of graphics, as the text is the important part here. It is always interesting to me to see how the world has changed – or even perverted – so many Biblical concepts. As most of the country are celebrating Labor Day …

Thursday Theme – August 31, 2023 Edition: Marriage
Today being our wedding anniversary, today’s theme is a no brainer. First, I will share with you the day that we are celebrating: our wedding day… We have relied heavily on the wisdom, advice, and commands of Scripture throughout our marriage, as God is as much a part of it as we are. These are …

Supernal Sunday – August 27, 2023 Edition: Walking The Walk (with alt-texts of verses)
Walking with Jesus. What does that really mean? Today I choose to share, from my own experience, what leads me as I walk the walk with Jesus. While I obviously cherish and honor the entirety of Scripture as I apply it to my life, these portions are always foremost in my mind: Loving one another…being …

Supernal Sunday – August 2, 2023 Edition: WHO IS GOD?
Wow, did I open up a can of worms with this one, or what??? These verses barely scratch the surface…the entire Bible was written to reveal Him to man, and I thought I could choose a few verses? Oh how wrong I was! But for whatever reason, these are the ones that I decided to …

Supernal Sunday – August 13, 2023 Edition: Where The Joy Comes From (with alt-texts)
(NOTE that alt-texts for Bible verses only contain the verses themselves, not descriptions of backgrounds, since the verse is what is most important.) There are times when we can lose our joy. Joy – unlike mere happiness – comes from the Holy Spirit within and not from external earthly things. (Nor can earthly things steal …

GUEST POST from Don: Obedience
OBEDIENCE [I was inspired to write this while reading a book by a Lutheran theologian. I am not Lutheran. I might align with early Methodism led by John Wesley (not United Methodist Church of today). Wesley, interestingly, was inspired by Martin Luther. Yet, I do not wholly subscribe to any man-made theology. I try to …

Supernal Sunday – July 30, 2023 Edition: Why Would I Want THAT???
Ahhh…I get it!!! OK, how do I tap into this salvation thing? What do I do next? Good for you – for now, and forever! First, you have to understand, just like every other person in the world, you are a sinner – exactly who Jesus came for! He came for you! Consider that. Consider …
