Ahhh…I get it!!! OK, how do I tap into this salvation thing? What do I do next?
Good for you – for now, and forever!
First, you have to understand, just like every other person in the world, you are a sinner – exactly who Jesus came for! He came for you! Consider that. Consider the pain it has caused you, and the people around you. Allow yourself to feel the sorrow to the point that you want to cast it off – to get rid of it – to your back on it. Literally, to turn away, for that is what repentance is.
Second, you have to know – know that you know that you know – Who Jesus is. What He has done for you. What he came for. And that He is asking you to believe and to follow Him, instead of the world and its sin.
Third, you have to take your eyes off of that sin, and turn them to Jesus. Make Him your focus. Open your heart to Him – He is knocking on the door to your heart, indeed your life, and holding His arms open to you.
