Since I didn’t get out at all last week the first set of photos are just ones I took from around the house. The last one I especially love; those of you who have followed my life for a while know that during the years we lived in the country we had a bird feeder just outside the picture window there too – and squirrels were always using it to look into our windows. So seeing this city squirrel doing the same was pretty delightful!
None of us have ever been to Buffalo Wild Wings before but I saw online that they fry in tallow instead of seed oils (which are highly inflammatory) so we decided to try it yesterday. Lyra was thrilled with the real strawberries in her strawberry lemonade, and Luna seemed quite impressed with her ice water too! All of our meals were excellent and so was the service. Lyra LOVED her chicken tenders, and Luna really enjoyed her wings – they both thought the hand-cut fries were excellent too. Pete got the burger and tots and said it was all very good, and especially liked that the tots were really crispy. I got the plain wings which were quite tasty but a little dry; I like sauce on them and BWW has plenty of choices for that, but wanted to see what they were like the first time I ordered; Luna and I both agreed that we will get sauce on them the next time. The prices were good too, <$45 (plus tip) for all of us.
Gotta love them inquisitive squirrels.
HAHAHA, yeah, between those and the birds starting to land on the window ledges, like in Clare, it feels more like home I think
