VIDEO: World Brain Day – A Very Personal Perspective

I took the opportunity to share some of my experiences and thoughts about brain injury and dementias, in particular, on this awareness day.

  1. You’ve been very discreet about ‘hiding’ your brain malfunctions and difficulties, as whenever you have recorded vlogs, blogs, videos, emails, musical episodes, etc., you appear to have perfectly ‘normal’ brain function. In fact your writing skills are exemplary compared to most other people’s, i.e. sentence structure, spelling, vocabulary, etc. A person would never know you have a brain disfunction. Thanks for this video. I send my love…

    1. If I’m struggling I don’t post anything, or write anything, or record anything. That’s why I like communicating via writing, I can change my words as often as I need to before sending :). (This morning, making my 4 morning changes before I even wrote my update I spent over 90 minutes; usually that process takes 15-20; normally I would have waited but my stats tell me that quite a few people come to my site looking for those early in the day, so I tried to do it anyway.) As they used to say, when I first got online about 35 years ago, “On the internet nobody knows you’re a dog.” Love to you as well, dear Annette!

  2. Excellent video – great content, well organized, articulate!
    I love you!
Btw, I need to find out just what heart diseases you have. Didn’t know you had any other than PMA.
