This was a gorgeous day, so we went out for a little while before J&E arrived. One of the places we stopped was a nearby Amish-owned store and deli that was really busy…but their produce displays out front were gorgeous! Then we noticed that the produce auction had just started down the road. Even though we had lived directly across the road from the auction house we had never been there, and since it was such a beautiful day we decided to go have a look so I could share a bit of it here. I shared some video from when we got home too, but the final clip didn’t turn out, so it stops abruptly. Sorry about that. At least the auction video came out well, I hope you enjoy it!
(We since learned that, because so many of the buyers are there to restock their own stores and stands, if people go up to them as they are loading their wagons and trucks, asking if they can buy a few things, the buyers are often very accommodating and great deals can be had that way too!)
I have seen a lot of produce, but not all of it so impeccable!!! And organized so perfectly! How beautiful!!
