You guys accomplished a LOT today. I hope you won’t have to ‘pay’ for it tomorrow! The birds…OH…the birds! Their shrill ‘chirps’ gave even ME a headache! I wouldn’t be able to withstand that in my daily life, but I’m happy for YOU to be able to. You got LOTS of good food, to last for awhile at least. I use Walmart home delivery service, so I haven’t been in a grocery store in probably at least a year or more. Walmart’s website is easy to use, and shopping is done on my computer screen. I love, Love, LOVE it! Thank you for sharing your daily life with us. I send my love.
That was definitely a busy day! Yes, Maxwell learned that shrill noise after we moved here, from some outside bird(s)…in first 22 years I had him he NEVER did that, was always a talker but never a shrieker, whistler, or screamer. I wear headphones – the kind that they use in gun ranges – when I have to. HOWEVER we have learned that if we keep music playing his vocalizations are much more quiet, like they used to be. The only food that we need now – or that *I* need now – is meat. Pete has plenty of his kinds (mostly lamb and seafood) but tomorrow we’ll go to the butcher for my kinds (mostly beef, some pork and chicken). Casey puts her orders in at Kroger or Meijer and then picks them up. We do that at Sam’s Club sometimes and I enjoy shopping on my computer screen at those times too :).
