Thursday Thoughts (June 9, 2022 Edition) on Friday

Well I guess it would appear I sorta skipped out yesterday! I guess I did…never finished out the day here with my usual updates or even a post! But it was an eventful day.

I don’t remember the earlier part of the day, I do know that I ate an early supper because we were going out to meet with someone I’ve been talking to who wants to buy my house, and I knew we’d be meeting at a restaurant and I didn’t want to get a big dinner, so I tried to be proactive. However, by the time we got to meet, due to various delays, it was about 4 hours later and I was starting to get hungry again, so I just ordered an appetizer. More on that when I update What I Eat shortly…but shoutout to the Lakeside Bar & Grill, their service was great and the appetizers are MASSIVE, bigger than most entire meals at other places! Great place to go when you’re hungry!

The meeting went well, I took a deposit and signed a short-term land contract, we discussed and came to agreement on the current tenant situation – which I haven’t talked about here but it’s been more and more troublesome and emotionally draining, we’d been friends for a long time before she ever moved in and it was painful to learn some things that have been going on, but anyway… – as well as cleaning out the house, etc. Very productive!

So by the time I drove back down here, after also meeting with the former friend/tenant, I was physically and emotionally pretty drained and couldn’t piece together a sentence so I just vegged in front of the TV (whatever I watched, I don’t recall) until I could take my nighttime meds and go to bed. At least I got about 6 hours sleep last night, which is 2 more than the night before.

Yesterday was a mixed bag, but today is another day and I am sure it will be a good one! And now I will update yesterday’s What I Eat page, and then do a few little things until I have to get going again.

  1. Glad your day was productive, but sorry about your (former) friend/tenant. I think you will be grateful to be rid of your home you no longer plan to live in/use, especially if the buyer agrees to purchase it ‘as-is’. That takes a lot of worry/stress off your shoulders. Yes, I missed you yesterday, so am happy to hear you are okay. I send my love…

    1. From your lips to God’s ear, dear Annette! Being rid of the stress, responsibility, and expense will be a great blessing! I just love you and appreciate your friendship so much! ?❤️?
