Since we just got my keyboard and server set up, with the camera, over the last couple of days I was able to do a little recording. I am still struggling with my RH 5th finger but have started to use it a little bit, now that I’m getting more of a feel for what it will refuse to do, and when it might cooperate; the 4th finger remains weak but I think it might be starting to strengthen; any of the power that comes through that finger is pushed through from my wrist through my hand as the 4th finger itself is still a bit floppy…but at least it will try, unlike its little brother! I continue to pray that my hand fully recovers, however, and I can play as I did previously.
I was planning to play anyway, though, so I figured I would just record a few songs to test my setup. I see that, for some reason, the video and audio aren’t quite synced, I’m not sure why but will have to work on that. Meanwhile if it bothers you, I learned if I close my eyes I can’t really tell hahaha! (By the way, I don’t remember if I’ve ever played or uploaded any of these songs before? Was just playing some of my favorites.)
JESUS DRAW ME CLOSE (Lenny LeBlanc)
Jesus draw me close
Closer Lord to You
Let the world around me
Fade away
Jesus draw me close
Closer Lord to You
For I desire to worship and obey
Jesus draw me close
Closer Lord to You
Let the world around me
Fade away
Jesus draw me close
Closer Lord to You
For I desire to worship and obey
For I desire to worship and obey
THE POWER OF THE CROSS (Keith & Kristyn Getty)
Oh, to see the dawn
Of the darkest day:
Christ on the road to Calvary.
Tried by sinful men,
Torn and beaten, then
Nailed to a cross of wood.
This, the power of the cross:
Christ became sin for us,
Took the blame, bore the wrath:
We stand forgiven at the cross.
Oh, to see the pain
Written on Your face
Bearing the awesome weight of sin;
Every bitter thought,
Every evil deed
Crowning Your bloodstained brow.
Now the daylight flees,
Now the ground beneath
Quakes as its Maker bows His head.
Curtain torn in two,
Dead are raised to life;
‘Finished!’ the victory cry.
Oh, to see my name
Written in the wounds,
For through Your suffering I am free.
Death is crushed to death,
Life is mine to live,
Won through Your selfless love.
This, the power of the cross:
Son of God, slain for us.
What a love! What a cost!
We stand forgiven at the cross.
YOU ARE MY ALL IN ALL (Dennis Jernigan)
You are my strength when I am weak
You are the treasure that I seek
You are my all in all
I’m seeking You like a precious jewel
Lord, to give up I’d be a fool
You are my all in all
Jesus, Lamb of God
Holy is Your name
Jesus, Lamb of God
Holy is Your name
Taking my cross my sin my shame
Raising again I praise Your name
You are my all in all
When I fall down You pick me up
When I run dry You fill my cup
You are my all in all
Jesus, Lamb of God
Holy is Your name
Jesus, Lamb of God
Holy is Your name
Jesus, Lamb of God
Holy is Your name
Jesus, Lamb of God
Holy is Your name
