Just a few notes:
Those items with a dot after the name are the mainstays of Pete’s diet. He doesn’t eat pork or poultry, and eats beef once a week or less; his polish sausage is 100% grass-fed beef, not a typical sausage.
Those items with a – after the name are what I bought for Saturday’s event here. We’re having a potato party where our helpers, daughter, and grandkids are coming to dig up the potatoes and pack them in sand-filled buckets to store in the basement. We will be roasting potatoes on a fire, and I’m making a potato bar…there will be a veggie tray…and some beef sausage bites for our dinner. (I still need to pick up a couple of things from Aldi tomorrow.)
Since I eat mostly animal products and prefer to purchase what I can from Billhilly Homestead Solutions (poultry, rabbit, eggs) and local sources, I no longer purchase my meat from Costco. When I did, it added $100+ to the bill.
I hope you find this to be a reasonable substitute for my usual video hauls.
