Johnny Hunt is known around these parts for his mad ukulele skills, and he – along with Lee Anne Whitman for the first hour – entertained a number of us in our small-town park with a variety of tunes. Not knowing quite what to expect we decided that at least it was free, and it would be something different to do anyway. We ended up thoroughly entertained and even uplifted with Mr. Hunt’s unique humor and stage presence. I’ve put together a few snippets (sorry about the camerawork, I’m not a pro!), but if you get a chance to see him, do it! Lee Anne was also a delight with her sweet, clear-as-a-bell intonations but – as I suspect is usually the case – Johnny Hunt stole the show.
