I have some photos to share, and a video that ends abruptly – sorry about that…I saw something at the beach that may upset people so I cut the video right before that and never put another ending on it. ?♀️ And then, a collection of miscellaneous photos from the days they grands spent with us. The pics are in 3 sections. First are some pictures from around the house, then some pictures of Lyra (and Luna, to a lesser degree) cleaning out and reorganizing my pantry, and the final set are from the restaurant to which we took them on the way back to their house.

I enjoyed viewing all these pictures and watching the video. Oh golly! What a royal MESS all that pantry stuff was, BUT, Lyra did a really great job in getting it all organized and put back away. Whenever we do a good cleaning, there has to be the ‘mess’ before the final outcome. The kids sure ordered a LOT of different foods at the steak house. Wow! It’s costly to raise kids these days, huh? Thanks for sharing these. Love to all!
YES, that pantry was CRAZY! I couldn’t believe how much stuff was in there, to begin with, and then how much stuff I didn’t even know I HAD! But Lyra was a real trooper and didn’t judge, she just rolled up her sleeves and got to work, with my motto “Like with like” in mind! Though I only threw a few things away we still had a TON of room left over by the time she was done! And little Luna was great about running stuff to her from the counter, and she even brought up and added some oft-used canned goods from the basement. WOW was I impressed! One thing I like about Lucky’s is that the kids menu is really really cheap! And the appetizers are very fairly priced as well, I often just order an appetizer and side salad or cup of soup, and mine didn’t cost any more than the kids’ (well, except Leelan!) did…great value there for sure because, you are right, kids are costly to feed! (We only ate out once this visit, we’ll be limiting it to one “special” meal whenever we can now!) Love to you as well?
