GLIMPSES INTO MY
DAILY LIFE

My beautiful Yamaha PSR-S950, which is going to be sold. She is an amazing keyboard...but now that I have my Tyros5, she just doesn't get played anymore. She was my pride and joy...and I hope that she can bring as much joy to a new owner as she did to me. (This isn't an ad, BTW)

A neighbor's chickens like to hang around our yard (often with the turkeys); today they were enjoying time in our pile of dirt!

Pete walked to the car ahead of me, as I was locking the door, and called back, "I guess we can't go anywhere yet..."

This is a bucket of dirt, into which I tossed a little handful of seeds and grains I took out of the PoiBoiz' feed mix. Just wanted to see what would happen. So far, this.

See that tiny yellow blossom? I think that means it's happy here 🥰

This is Johnny. Johnny says hello. Though pileated woodpeckers are known to avoid people and aren't often seen, Johnny will come within a few feet of Pete. If there isn't a suet block for him, he actually will scold Pete. In this photo, Johnny is within 2' of Pete who is talking to him from inside the window; the bird feeder hangs against the outside of that window. Johnny and Pete have been pals for a few years now.

This is what the plant below looks like a week later. Interesting stuff!

I have no idea what this is in one of my raised beds, never seen anything like it! It's only about 1½" tall!

While we were out today I picked up some more flower seeds, and we got a lawn mower too.

My 2 favorite pieces of mail today: a beautiful colorful cheerful birthday card from one of my most beloved friends...and MY SEED ORDER!

This is Fern. She's probably about 6-7 months old by now, and helps out where we buy our meat. I LOVE FERN 🥰

The winds have been really strong today; another one of our trees fell in the yard.

Look what I found at the Saginaw VOA store! Been looking for a little phone table for this spot FOREVER! $15.99 - and perfect!

Waking up with my Maisie makes my mornings HAPPY!
