1. I see a lot of people talking about how nice and friendly and lovely people are on Mastodon. And that is probably 95%+ true, as it is everywhere else. It is hard to see sometimes when moderating, though…I suppose social workers and police officers and such probably also have the same difficulty at times seeing the kindness and helpfulness and friendliness that is the norm.
2. Reading a blog post this morning – How to Distinguish a True Christian from a Hypocrite – goes along with some things that have been on my heart lately…namely, deception in the church. Probably an idea for a future Supernal Sunday, as the Spirit leads.
3. Chuy is crazy spoiled. He likes his blankets and pillows, always wants to lay on my blanket-covered legs and sit on the pillow that my laptop sits on, sliding my laptop off as I try to use it. Today Pete set him up with an alternative:

He stayed there for quite a while, too! Thanks, Pete!
4. I spoke too soon.

5. Something else I read that I found very interesting: God is separating the wheat from the chaff in our country – do you agree? (Yes this is from 2019; God is not limited by our calendar, and His moves are not limited by our concept of time.)
6. I sure do see a lot of people labeling facts as “disinformation” out there just because they don’t agree with it – it’s an epidemic! (And along with that…twice this week I’ve seen people on social media who didn’t want others to post about certain things…just because they personally had a different opinion – wow! That’s some real cheeky stuff, there!)
7. I am probably sat here for most of the day so having a few thoughts to share!
8. Copying a graphic into my MiscKeepers folder I am once again reminded why I almost always choose to buy (for myself – Pete makes many of his own choices) food items that have NO ingredients. (They can – and usually do – become ingredients in my kitchen.) And even then I choose, whenever possible, locally sourced, typically grown/created here in our own Amish community.
9. Now THIS is cool!!! Takes me back to my Jetsons days, as a kid I loved that cartoon, and was pretty sure that by the time I grew up that would be what life was like!
10. “I will not let anyone walk through my mind with their dirty feet.” ― Mahatma Gandhi (as seen on Mewe)
11. Sometimes the simplest things are exhausting. And the most unexpected things are energizing.
12. Ships that pass in the night. That’s Petey ‘n’ me. He’s getting up from his nap as I’m getting ready to go upstairs. Yup. Ships.
And that’s it for today.
Wheat from the chaff has been happening for awhile, but seems to be more intense now days for sure!
Yup, and will continue to do so until Jesus comes back I’m sure 🙂
