I have always – since I became a Christian anyway – had a sense of this. Not in Mr. Jackson’s exact words, but mine are similar: If it isn’t my time to go Home, then nothing can send me; if it is my time to go Home, then nothing can keep me here. This certainty, more than anything else, has ruled nearly everything in my life. And it allows me to do without much thought what others may consider risky. So in that way, I can relate to this aspect of Mr. Jackson’s faith.
