Want to try an exercise in futility? Try finding ANYTHING in the Bible that tells us deception is a good thing! Pretty much everything I could find about God’s truths on the topic are below…
This command keeps coming to mind as I researched today’s topic (not necessarily for today, but for my own life and application of the world’s technological “advances”):

I will admit: this is something with which I struggle. I can’t make it seem right to me…so I’m throwing my thoughts and convictions out here today to see if God is also speaking to others about this?

There are so many…mentioning just the term “AI” brought me to more links about deceit and deception…my head is spinning, I just can’t spend the rest of the day sharing them all. But you get the picture by now I am sure…

I just can’t make it feel ok in my mind…I can’t excuse it…can’t justify it… I always taught my daughter as she was growing up, “If you feel a need to justify something you want to do, you already know it is wrong.”

If it looks like a duck, or walks like a duck, or quacks like a duck…
Yeah. I need to avoid this particular duck…

There is such a thing as the unpardonable sin. It is NOT only blaspheming the Holy Spirit, as many believe. See Numbers 15:32-36, esp v 35. Sinning defiantly is blasphemy (check out several translations here). Other types of unpardonable sins include presumption, willful disobedience, and seeking after other gods. Ananias and Sapphira (Acts) thought they would get away with lying. God struck them down. God is not deceived.
