When I see so-called “Christians” they always seem angry!
Why are “Christians” so critical??
Christians sure seem to be happy with their idea that if I mess up I’ll go to hell…I thought Jesus taught love?
I went to a new church once and nobody even acknowledged me – Christians are inclusive snobs!
I know a bunch of people who pray but nothing happens. Why would I want THAT?
What do all of these common complaints about Christians have in common?
THIS is the start of a series of answers to some of the reasons non-believers have to avoid Jesus.
If you are a Christian, look into your heart and see if your own relationships, communications, and behavior are leading the lost to see a different heart than the one Jesus gives us. If you are not a believer, why are you looking at other people, no better or worse than yourself, as much a sinner as we all are, to validate your own faith choices?
(Because I have to keep things basic and simple, and make the Word – Scripture – Bible as understandable and uncomplicated as possible, I don’t write long paragraphs; I can’t readily comprehend piles of sentences and paragraphs. So that is how God communicates to, and through, me. I am His vessel, and He understands my limitations as well as the gifts He’s given me, and uses me as He knows best.)
So this is the start of our journey as we look to the Word to answer the question, Why would I want THAT??? and by the end of it, in as many of these posts as it takes, my prayer is that God’s own words, as we go directly to the Source, will provide the answers.
