Some Sunday Music – July 27, 2025

For some reason, ever since I moved my keyboard to another spot in the living room, I have wanted to play it constantly! So today I set up my camera and software again and recorded a couple of songs that I was particularly enjoying. One was when I was in a worshipful spirit and one when I was in a joyful spirit.

As always, this is to share with my friends, not a performance. But I hope you enjoy it anyway!

How Deep The Father’s Love For Us

Verse 1
How deep the Father’s love for us
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure
How great the pain of searing loss
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the Chosen One
Bring many sons to glory

Verse 2
Behold the Man upon a cross
My sin upon His shoulders
Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice
Call out among the scoffers
It was my sin that held Him there
Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life
I know that it is finished

Verse 3
I will not boast in anything
No gifts, no power, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection
Why should I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom

I Will Boast

Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom
Or the strong man boast in his strength
Let not the rich man boast in his riches
But let the humble come and give thanks
To the One Who made us
The One Who saved us

I will boast in the Lord my God
I will boast in the One Who’s worthy
I will boast in the Lord my God
I will boast in the One Who’s worthy
He’s worthy

  1. You rearranged your home again? I’m anxious to see it. Where are your keyboards/instruments now? Nice music. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Yup, again…actually the last time was March 1 I believe, and usually I rearrange a half-dozen times a year. I put the new arrangement up on Gloria’s page yesterday, I’ll love to hear what you think of it! 🙂 Thanks Annette 😍
