The original plan was for them to stay from Thursday until Sunday, then Leelan got invited to his first teenage party on Saturday night, so they were going to go home on Saturday…but then…well, more on that later. First, enjoy the few photos that I got…

I took the kids to Culver’s for their (and Pete’s) supper; I didn’t have much of an appetite.

When we got closer to home I let the 2 oldest kids out of the car to take the empty trash cans up the lane to our neighbor (they take our full can out to the road for us) and to our yard; you can’t see the 8-year-old because the can is taller than she is!

Yeah, it was fun while it lasted…and I got video too but it will require some editing. But then, within 24 hours…COVID. Their dad had to come and pick them up early. He was coming down the road as my ambulance was pulling out of the lane…
But we will reschedule for another time…and we loved spending time with them while we could!

It is always good to have the Grandchildren here. Leelan and Lyra cleaned up the river while they were magnet fishing. So much happened in a short period of time. I felt I was being attacked on all sides – spiritually – not physically.
It didn’t turn out as expected, that’s for sure! They’re the most fun kids EVER!
