I recall one day I was shopping in an Aldi store. It was probably last year, or maybe the year before, at Christmastime. It was a perfect opportunity to be impatient, crowded and slow-going. But it wasn’t. There was a young woman also shopping, and she was singing. She was singing like nobody else was there, with an absolutely lovely mezzo-soprano voice, so clear and joyful…and her Christmas carols and hymns carried throughout the entire store. She had a lovely look about her, as if she were enjoying the entire experience, nodding and smiling at people as she pushed her buggy through the aisles, and singing. There was no impatience in that crowd, and people were smiling at each other, some even humming along.
Music made the difference.

I did that same thing once- and people joined in the song. Thanks for the reminder.
Oh that’s SO COOL!! I tried it once and someone called a manager, said they heard a frog in the building…HAHAHA! OK, j/k…but that is the greatest thing!
