As I’d mentioned on my daily updates, yesterday we purchased a travel trailer. That comes as a big surprise, I know, I hadn’t written anything about how we’ve been looking at them for months, and planning to buy one yet this year. I guess yesterday was THE day!
Yesterday we left for a day of shopping the dealerships. The first one we went into we were met by Tony (BlueCompass RV in Midland), and he is THE BEST! Absolutely great guy! This trailer is in impeccable condition, and will be used for travel once we upgrade our vehicle to a heftier one, but for now it will serve as Pete’s ham shack, and also a place for “the girls” to hang out when they’re sick of being around us old folk in the house hahaha! Anyway, we will take delivery later this month. In the meantime here are a few photos for you to peruse if you are interested. (click on photos and they will enlarge)
I love how God works things out, too! This was the first dealership we went to…Tony turned out to be a Christian brother…I started describing a few of the things off the long list we were looking for and he took us out to see this camper, told us it was the one. When we got out there it had not only the features (in the price range) that we had told him about, but ALL of the features on our list, even those we never mentioned! In other words, exactly what we needed. It was definitely a God thing, it had only been on their lot 2 days and His timing was perfect, Tony took us directly to it, we didn’t find one before this of course…anyway, it is definitely another one of many examples of how He works in every aspect of our lives, every single day.
