Day In The Life – Aug. 3, 2020

Today was a great day with Leelan! First thing in the morning, Pete took him over to Cops N Donuts in Clare.

Next we decided to go to the city to do some thrift store shopping. Traffic was heavy today!

First we stopped for lunch. This is a cool diner that we don’t eat at very often – mostly with important guests, such as Leelan. Our lunch was great: Pete got a veggie sub and fries, Leelan got chicken nuggets, curly fries, and root beer, and I got a burger and onion rings.

Next was the reason we went – the thrift stores!

The last stop was at a discount store, and that’s where I got my 2nd-favorite item! It’s a cell phone holder that can be moved into all different shapes. I have wanted one to hold my phone above my keyboard while I record my playing but I don’t think I’ll be able to hold still enough for a good video…but I found an even BETTER use for it: I can load my music sheets on the screen and easily see them to play on one of my ukes! This is brilliant, I don’t even need a table or music stand anymore!

Finally we had a good drive home and a restful evening. I hope you enjoyed my day too!
