Christmas Song Day 2

Well, I do have a little story about recording this one today…during the 3rd verse you will see me jerking around a little bit. That is when Maxwell decided he was going to play in my hair and start chewing on my ear, and it tickled. I did stumble a tiny bit, and I decided to forego the fancy ending I had planned, but it wasn’t too bad hahaha!

Behold The Babe In Bethlehem by Ron Hamilton, 1980

Behold the Babe of Bethlehe, By angel host adored;
This Baby whom mortals shall condemn Is heaven’s wealth outpoured.
Sing Allelulia, Sing Alleluia
Behold the Babe of Bethlehem; ‘Tis Jesus Christ the Lord.

Behold the Youth of Galilee- Tho child of humble birth,
Incarnate Son of God is He; His blood has priceless worth.
Sing Allelulia, Sing Alleluia
Behold the Youth of Galilee; ‘Tis God Who dwells on earth.

Behold the Christ of Calvary; God’s perfect will is done.
His blood defeats the enemy; My victory is won.
Sing Allelulia, Sing Alleluia
Behold the Christ of Calvary; ‘Tis God’s beloved Son.

  1. Beautiful! I enjoyed it, and I think Maxwell did too! In time, prior to THE day, I’m hopeful that you will play some ‘traditional’ Christmas tunes for us. Not saying these are not VERY beautiful, because they ARE…but personally, I would enjoy some traditional Christmas tunes before you’re done with playing this season.

    1. Oh but of course! 😃 I plan on a whole slew of ’em for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as well as other days :). And I will continue posting until the end of the year too :). The first 2 songs I played I was wondering if you knew, because they were from the 1800s and were labeled “traditional” but I wasn’t familiar with them? They have been getting some air time on the radio this year but I don’t remember them from prior years. Anyway, I am recording a bunch of the really familiar ones especially for the 24th and 25th. I’m glad you’re enjoying them❣️
