Billhilly Homestead Solutions – The BEST at What They Do!

I have a Kudos page on my site that is badly in need of updating…and the first thing I will be adding is a link to this post!

Yesterday we had a pig roast for about 30 people. Billhilly not only roasted the pig, but catered the entire event, providing a tables groaning under the weight of all the delicious dishes! Scalloped potatoes…the best chicken macaroni salad I’ve ever eaten…baked beans (AND a vegetarian version for several guests who don’t eat animal products!)…the best rolls on the planet…buns for pork sandwiches with all the condiments anyone could want – AND sauces for the pork…amazing cheesecakes…and high quality plates and cutlery, napkins, and everything else anyone could need to partake in such a feast! We had to do NOTHING! They did all the setup AND the cleanup!

The pork itself was so tender and juicy, having slow roasted from late the day before…Bill came and got the meat started, stayed with it and checked on it and basted it all night long, and ended up with an incredibly flavorful and mouth-watering meat! (The leftovers in my freezer with be enjoyed for a long time to come, too!)

What a PERFECT experience! The event was a huge success, due in very large part to the professionalism, friendliness, helpfulness, and thoroughness of Billhilly! I would not hesitate to recommend them for any event!

(NOTE: We have been buying our eggs exclusively from Billhilly, as well as some meats – and have been just as pleased! In fact, I no longer care much for any “lesser” eggs on my table, and I know – and have seen – that their own animals are very content, and raised humanely and with great care for the best outcome possible. It is a business that the family is all involved in and that is the kind of small local business that we love to support! In addition, I am PROUD to call Bill my son-in-law, he is an amazing honest human being and businessman who has a true love and passion for what he does.)
