How interesting that as I read the Crosswalk reading I was thinking, “Well, I guess there’s nothing for me here today!” After all, I hadn’t shared the same experiences of Christmas friction and strain with the author.
Then I moved on to Light For All. I had never known, or even thought of, what a lack of hope there was for Gentiles before Jesus – it never even entered my mind to question it, and the 5th paragraph was a revelation to me. But then, the poem at the end…it aligned perfectly with the theme of The Strains of Christmas!
Though these readings are from two very difference sources, God is still using them to touch me, as I have prayed He would…and even using them together!
