To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Dec. 20 Advent reading from Meet Him At The Manger: God Became Flesh
Reading and listening to this today illuminated several things for me. First, how we unwittingly contribute to the triteness of Christmas in our society; second, how we can see “the Word” as flesh, as human…”If He’s God, He’s God; if He’s man, He’s man. But He certainly can’t be both at once.” And third, “Scripture says that in Christ we have seen the God of the universe. He has already been here. It’s one thing to think of an adorable baby surrounded by gentle beasts, but are we ready to deal with the reality of God living among us, revealing Himself to us?” Of course these seem to be almost disjointed thoughts so I would encourage you to read it, and get the Big Picture. Connect the dots for yourself. And then see if you have as much to consider and think and pray about as I do. What will I do with this?
