I’ve got some recent photos of the 2 main events from the last few days.
THE FLOOD – The photos of our yard – and the yards behind us and next door – are taken by me. The others – of his yard and the farmers’ fields around Leelan’s house – are taken by him.
LEELAN’s BIRTHDAY DINNER – None of us had been to this delightful Mexican restaurant before, and it is where Leelan chose to go to celebrate. There was an immense menu, the decor was cheerful and colorful, the staff was delightful, and the music was appropriate (though a little loud for my taste). The food, when it arrived, was FANTASTIC and we all loved it! Can’t wait to go back again! Leelan got a piece of tres leche cake for his birthday, with a huge strawberry on top, and it was a great celebration!
