Before I started recording there were 8 starlings, both adults and juveniles, on the feeder and they were making a huge racket! By the time I grabbed my phone to record them some were gone. There are 2 adults and 3 juveniles that make up a family which lives in the big evergreen tree on the other side of the front deck/porch thing. They come to feed several times a day, with both parents feeding the 3 fledged babies. Of course we get many other kinds of birds but since these 3 fledged they have spent a lot more time at the feeder. Anyway, from where I sit in the living room this is what I see – only it is zoomed in somewhat so that you could see it too. Enjoy!
P.S. I love starlings ever since I found and raised a baby one who became my constant companion…a story for another time.
