As I’ve mentioned elsewhere, July includes many awareness and celebration days involving family and children, and indeed a half-dozen month long such designations. And so quite a bit of my content will revolve around that theme this month. Today I’m sharing a few starting points about the building blocks of the world’s families as God created it to work. Some of it may seem strange, or even offensive, to the comparatively twisted ways that society now operates (and it shows!).
I like to also throw this out there every so often (although maybe I should include it with every Supernal Sunday post!): These Scripture passages don’t tell the whole story – not even close! But they are a starting place to guide us into the Word to read context and gain further insight. A single verse cannot – and should be expected to – be the last word on anything God has to tell us.
