My Heart Is Heavy Today

I cannot stand what the deep state is doing to our President. He fights and fights and fights for us, and keeps getting battered over and over and over again. How long can one man go on fighting for his country under these conditions? His latest tweets today are almost heart-breaking. There are SO many parallels between our President Trump and Israel’s King David, as we can see by comparing the President’s statements to this king’s psalms. If any aren’t praying for our President they need to start. If any are praying for him they need to pray more. He definitely needs the strength that only comes from his heavenly Father. My heart is so heavy for him today…

    1. If America were a ship and our President were the Captain of the ship, the Left is doing all they can below the waterline inside the ship to sink the ship. At every turn the Left is drilling holes in the ship only so they can sink the Captain. The Left is too stupid to realize when they succeed in sinking the ship and the Captain that they, too, will die.

    1. Of course…and we are to pray for whomever He chooses to put there. He led me to an amazing (long but comforting in its teaching) article right after I posted this. I’m still considering it in my heart and praying but will likely do a follow-up post at some point…thanks for reading it and sharing your thoughts, my friend!

  1. Praying for our president and our world as it is today. I understand why you like where you live…it’s a peaceful and calm
environment where you can think and pray. Stay safe my friend, Jodi

  2. Our part and prayers are likened to Aaron and Hur “As long as Moses held up his hands, Israel prevailed; but when he lowered them, Amalek prevailed. When Moses’ hands grew heavy, they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. Then Aaron and Hur held his hands up, one on each side, so that his hands remained steady until the sun went down. So Joshua overwhelmed Amalek and his army with the sword.”…(Ex. 17:12)

  3. The bible tells us God sets up kings and takes them down…he also says in the book of kings I believe to pray for our leader if we want to live a peaceful life…regardless of what others may think I truly believe the hand of God is on our President…and he is God’s chosen for this time…and yes I pray for him and his family and those that surround him everyday!!!..Debbie k.

    1. Agree. On all points. You have rightly divided the Word :). No matter who is in control (in any country) they are only there because of God’s will. Amen!
