What if you love music but don’t play – or even have – an instrument to play? Or what if you want to create your own music but…well…no instrument…? The internet may have your solution! Below are a few sites I’ve found that allow you to make your own kind of music anyway!
Songmaker by the Chrome Music Lab (free)
Soundtrap for Music Makers has lots of bells & whistles! (subscription after trial period)
Bandlab Studio looks like it has a basic free version, and lots of cool tools for paid membership
Soundfly has a nice list of mobile apps that allow users to “create awesome music from scratch”
Splice has what seems to me to be a great list of tools for “your music production toolkit.”
Truly, when I started this post, I had NO IDEA of all that is out there, way more that I can possibly list here!! The above barely scratch the surface, but, if this is a topic that interests you, may give you a jump-off point to your music creation future!
