The last day of summer doesn’t have to mean the end of ice cream cones for the year!
According to the Guinness book for world records, the tallest ice cream cone in the world was 3.08 m or 10ft 1.26 inches tall. This was completed by Hennig-Olsen and Trond L Woien from Norway at Kristiansand, Norway on July 26, 2015.
The Ice Cream Cone was first introduced at the world fair in 1904.
A large triple-decker ice cream cone that was filled with helium made its debut at the 1945 Macy’s Day Parade. At that time, it was considered the world’s largest cone.

I have cones and ice cream available 100% of the time. My favorite flavor is Java Chunk (by Kemps). Hardly a day goes by that I don’t enjoy an ice cream cone. It’s an addiction I guess, but I enjoy it and don’t plan on stopping any time soon…so there!
Oh I wish I could do that…Java Chunk sounds like one I would love too! There are certain of life’s little joys that are worth it! (Pete said, “I’ve never heard of that kind” and I told him, “Let’s just drive over there, maybe she’ll offer us a cone!” hahaha!) A little out of the way but if it is that tasty… ?
