Being sick this week I didn’t even turn my computer on for several days, let alone post anything. So for anyone who has been following along here is what you missed…ALSO, I have stopped using the Crosswalk site. I hadn’t been getting much out of it, it wasn’t as “meaty” as I was looking for and even seemed trite at times, and I love the other site so much that I appreciate being able to spend more time and thought with that one. So here are the readings for the days that I didn’t post them.
And Hannah prayed and said,
“My heart exults in the Lord;
my horn is exalted in the Lord.
My mouth derides my enemies,
because I rejoice in your salvation.
“There is none holy like the Lord:

there is no rock like our God.
Talk no more so very proudly,
let not arrogance come from your mouth;
for the Lord is a God of knowledge,
and by him actions are weighed.
The bows of the mighty are broken,

but those who were hungry have ceased to hunger.
The barren has borne seven,
