The vast majority of my online social time is spent, of course, on my own sites, which I consider social – it is me reaching out to people in an effort to form relationships and touch others and share information, which is about as social as I can be these days :).
A lot of my online social time is mainly spent on Mastodon (part of the “fediverse“) on the theres.life (me) Christian instance (group), and on freeatlantis (me) instance. I love each of these instances for their own reasons, mainly for the discussions of Biblical topics and social implications on the first, and for the passion of the members – many of them also Christians – on the second about each other, the country, and the world.
Then there is Gab (me), where I have made some very dear friends, and many acquaintances that I care about, and participate in some great groups, harvest memes, and find humor and so VERY many blessings! It is my escape from all of the things that hurt my heart that I see elsewhere…Gab is where I go to laugh, to be uplifted, to find great information, and to connect with the hearts of others. It is my “facebook” but OH so much better, on so many levels, and offers much more than any other platform with which I’ve ever been connected!
I spend most of my online time on my blogs and these two platforms. But there are also a couple of others that I enjoy scrolling through: X (formerly Twitter), Minds, and Gettr – where I am incognito 😉, and Pinterest (me).
My goal is to be a blessing and to post content that touches others, no matter where I am “socializing” at the time. ( And I use LOTS of memes and graphics, if you haven’t noticed!) One thing my dad always taught me, and we discussed often, was that we should never miss an opportunity to encourage and uplift everyone with whom we come into contact, no matter the situation or circumstance. Social media gives me LOTS of those opportunities, and I pray that I take advantage of every single one of them.

I rarely participate in Savior Connect; it isn’t the friendliest site out there as people rarely comment or discuss each other’s content. Seems like most people just want to post their own stuff and ignore each other hahaha. But I do go and read occasionally. The others keep me plenty busy and I do enjoy them though.
