These topics go together, don’t they? Maisie’s rescue story (about 7 weeks before I brought her home) has already been posted so I won’t make you read it again :). But she’s definitely one of the best things that has ever happened to me. And everything I wrote about how great she is with me still applies – about 10x as much, after 6 years together!
Most of my dogs have been rescues, and the other 2 were rehomed with me. (Almost all of my parrots – and I’ve had more of those than dogs and cats put together – have been rescued, or rehomed with me in a few cases, also.) I have a huge place in my heart for rescued animals, and for those who help them and adopt them…
